Personalised bespoke treatment exclusive to Cinch ClinicAt Cinch Clinic you will be welcomed by a fully-trained practitioner who will devise a bespoke, personalised skincare treatment plan in order to achieve your desired results. For years, Botox has ruled the cosmetic sector and whilst its results are still fantastic for achieving a fast, easy way to roll back the years, microneedling is a longer-term solution to the age-old problem of wrinkles and loose skin.Microneedling is now being heralded as the non-invasive way to achieve youthful, dewy looking skin with results that last up to five years…
What is Mesotherapy Microneedling? It’s a non-invasive treatment whereby a range of devices (depending on the client’s skin concern) with small medical-grade needles applied over the face and neck area to create controlled punctures, which force your skin into repair mode. A potent mesotherapy serum is then applied to the skin and now that the pores are open, it allows the infusion to penetrate the middle layer (mesoderm) of the skin (much further than topical application). This helps to boost collagen, repair damage from ageing, sun and environmental influences and start the healing process. We follow this up with a range of treatments(depending on your skin concern) including Cryotherapy, Radio Frequency or LED Light Therapy.Note: Those with a fear of needles shouldn’t reject this technique straight away as the needles are incredibly tiny compared to a traditional needle. The device we us is gentle enough to be used around the delicate eye area.
What are the benefits of micro-needling?After the age of 25, we lose up to 1.5% of collagen from our skin each year thereafter. The resulting appearance of wrinkles due to the loss of our natural collagen can be mitigated by micro needling. When your skin starts repairing itself it turbocharges your body’s natural ability to produce collagen and elastin, which provides that firm plumpness which dwindles with age. It also helps improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks and creates a more youthful skin tone.
What should you expect from a professional micro-needling treatment? The idea of applying small needles over your skin might sound like torture, but the procedure starts with the opportunity to have your face being anesthetised with topical cream (many people choose not to) and has minimal downtime. The treatment can be tailored to the specific needs of the client and can result in just a few hours of redness, mild swelling and erythema (red patches). However, depending on your tolerance levels, these symptoms can last for one to two days and you can also experience pinpoint bleeding and bruising.
How many and how often will you need to have a treatment? Each client will have a full consultation with our fully trained therapist to discuss your specific skin concerns. The number of sessions depends on the skin condition, but typically you’re looking at 3-6 treatments with 4-6-week intervals and a maintenance treatments every 6-9 months.
Aftercare At Cinch Clinic we recommend 100 per cent natural skincare products which can be purchased in the Clinic. It is important that you use paraben-free, 100% chemical free products on your skin for the duration of your treatment schedule. When should you avoid mesotherapy micro-needling?It can be used on all skin colours and skin types; however, it should be avoided if you have an active infection on the skin such as impetigo, active and inflamed acne or rosacea. Those with hypersensitive skin, acute eczema or sun burnt skin should also avoid the treatment.
